Scholastic F.I.R.S.T. (For Inspiring and Rewarding Student Talent) is an annual scholarship competition open to high school students in the United States. Students are invited to submit an original essay, artwork, or video on a given topic in order to be considered for one of several scholarships worth up to $10,000.
Since its inception in 2013, Scholastic F.I.R.S.T. has awarded more than $150,000 in scholarships to deserving students. The competition is open to students in grades 9-12, and submissions are accepted in three categories: essay, artwork, and video.
